i’ve got a few new shirt designs. i’m looking for feedback on which ones you would like to have made. all of the shirts are a light weight cotton or cotton blend. what this means is they will be very soft and generally form fitting.
below each image is the feedback i’m looking for. if you have any additional comments, feel free to let me know. most shirts are printed on at least two different t-shirt blanks. if you don’t like a design let me know. not all of these will necessarily be printed. only the ones you like. that’s why i want your feedback.
please forgive my photoshop skills, or lack of. not all of the shirts are the perfect fit for the model. different sizes were ordered to compare fit. hopefully it doesn’t negatively impact your decisions.
MENS

feedback: do you like the light or dark gray? should we keep the word ‘buckeye’ or remove it?

osu over the shoulder
feedback: i realize these all look very similar. A is technically charcoal, B-D are asphalt. do you have a preference between the two colors? do you like the over the shoulder style? B is a medium and D is an XL. not the right size for the model.
WOMENS
buckeye repeat
feedback: D and E are v-neck shirts. C is a scoop neck with cap sleeves (half sleeves). B is a crew or standard neck with cap sleeves. A is a unisex shirt with a crew neck and standard sleeves. which color do you prefer (the design on the red shirts did not photograph well for some reason)? would the red look good in a v-neck (so you can accessorize, of course)? which style of sleeves and neck line do you prefer? D was too large for the model. do you like that style? do you like the buckeye candy on the shirt?
music preview
feedback: these are all v-neck style shirts. the bottom image is the back of the shirt, if that’s not obvious. the music chords continue to the back. it is the first line of the fight song and it reads, ‘fight the team across the field, show them ohio’s here…’. the flower is a gerbera daisy. A and D have cap sleeves, B and C are regular. D is longer than the others. C is not the correct fit for the model. do you prefer cap sleeves? let me know the style you like best. do you like the overall design. is the ohio state along the neckline necessary? should it be removed? replaced? moved?
buckeye leaf abstract
feedback: the shirt is way too big for the model. but what do you think? do you like the design? should we take the buckeyes off the sleeve? are they too much in the armpit? do you like the style of the shirt? is it too deep of a v?
On the first shirt, I like B-the darker shirt best w/Buckeyes on it. On the second shirt I like the asphalt color (B&D) best and I do like the over the shoulder design. On the third shirt I like shirt “A” the best (which looks unisex to me) and I think the v neck design would be nice to have available. My favorite color,though, is the gray. On the fourth shirt, “B” is my fav and I like the Ohio State along the neckline.

#3 – A & E – This is my favorite…slightly Ed Hardy’ish. It does not look right in picture B, but the style is cool! Nice work.
#4 – B & C – These 2 look like a nicer cut shirt for women as apposed to just the T-Shirt style. I like C the best, the larger cut collar.

#6 – To big for the model…looks like a nite shirt (Night Shirts…now there is an idea!) Maybe something like Sample #3, go over the shoulder or tribal around the arm? It is so big, its hard to tell
Love being a part of the “test group”!
1. I dont know what that symbol is, but if it is recognizable to all buckeyes fans, then DEFINITELY remove the word buckeyes. very abstract cool. and dark grey.
2. if you keep the word “go” then it needs to be MUCH more bold. i think it could go either way. i kinda like the first, light color… but i think classic red is probably the way to go.
3. this shirt is terrible.
4. this shirt is also terrible. if you’re gonna make me pick one, then E is the least offensive.
5. this shirt is really cool, i love the colors but i think it would be better as a crewneck. and a shrunken size, for girls. like not a baby tee, but just a small t-shirt. t-shirts never fit girls well. i think the ohio state should be centered, much bigger, and block font. gives it a bit of an edge. and SUPER soft cotton.
6. i like this shirt, but yes it is way too big for the model. i would just change the font or at least the coloring. the letters look snow-capped and seems like a holiday shirt. unless thats what you were going for… but t-shirts arent very practical for winter.

Great designs!!! Here is my feedback…
1. A… looks similar to B… but the “Buckeyes” looks crooked on B. I like the darker grey and definetly like the semi faded look.
2. D….only I would suggest taking off the “go”. I really like the red faded look on t-shirt A… but think that bright red would sell more due to the fact that it stands out.
3. All of these are hot!!! I love the design….but of all of them, I would suggest E. The t-shirt itself looks faded and I think it looks Armani:)
4. I LOVE the high neckline on t-shirt B with the capped sleeves. I would love one in dark grey like t-shirt D. Of the two grey shirts… I love the darker grey and really like the longer sleeves:)
5. D…. I love that it’s form fitting… has a higher neckline.. the design is sweet…def love the fight song lyrics… and the fact that it’s LONG. Love long t-shirts:)
6. This one is a little hard to tell only because she’s swimming in it, but I love the design and the v-neckline.
This are really great John!! They are definetly very trending and look upscale. You may even be able to turn some people who would otherwise spit on Ohio into fans:)

2. Not a fan of the color on A or C all that much. B looks too loose fitting so I would go with D.
3. I like A&E. (Not the TV station well unless Dog the Bounty Hunter is on) I think the lettering could be a little bolder.
4. Can’t go wrong with any of them, maybe get rid of A. I think the shorter sleeves with sell better. Thats if the ladies want to give Columbus a free gun show.
5. B&D are the best.
6. I think this is the best one of the 3 ladies shirts. As someone already said you should make the “Ohio State” all scarlet.
I can already tell anyone that tries one of these on will likely raise their IQ at least 20 points.

Brutus Partial: my favorite design by far! I like the darker grey best, and my vote is to keep the “Buckeyes” on the shirt
Go Bucks: I like color C best, I might like A too, but it looks a little too pink in the photo. I vote for keeping the “go” on the shirt
OSU Over the Shoulder: Of the men’s shirts, this is my least fave. I think I like A or E color.
Buckeye Repeat: I like style B. Personally, I’m not a fan of v-necks in sports type shirts. That’s just me though.
Music Preview: Least fave style in girl’s.
Buckeye Leaf Abstract: Tough to tell on this one, because it’s so large on the model. Is it supposed to be tight-fitting. I think I would like it much better then. Hard to tell about the armpit issue with it being so baggy…sorry!

the lower the cut on the neck line, the better.

1. B – I have no idea what that smiley face guy is – but I assume Ohio State people do. I happen to like the odd placement of “Buckeyes” – and grey t-shirts always look hot on guys so color is sweet!
2. B – and I agree that the “go” is too obscure and you don’t really notice it.
3. A and/or E – I have to agree that this shirt is “terrible” on some level. This is because I lived in LA for some time and this style shirt is/was the calling card of all men douche-bag. but the design is good – and I like the color of the shirt. And I know dudes like these douchey designs so who am I to judge.
4. B
5. D – but is my least fav. of all the girl T’s
6. LOVE IT. I would personally wear this. I love the idea of the sticker things. Very cleaver. and it’s too big as you mentioned – but I like the concept for sure. Grey, V-neck, cute design = great!!
I love all of the shirts – I would go with the dark gray on shirt #1. I wasn’t all that crazy about shirt #2, shirt #3 I like the asphalt, #4 I liked A and #5 is my favorite of the bunch – I think that the Ohio State along the neck could be a little bit bigger, but they are all really cool and can’t wait for them to be available for sale!!

#1 – A – keep the Buckeyes
#2 – A is kinda throwback, I like it. Go Bucks is fine.
#3 – B and D, I like the asphalt, reminds me of falling down as a child.
#4 – Really like D and E, maybe it’s the neck.
#5 – A looks like a hippo gave birth through the neck. D looks like a bowling shirt, but it’s still my favorite.
#6 – Really like these. They might be my favorite for the girls. The V neck is hot.

“brutus partial” – I like B with the darker background and the slightly askew BUCKEYES
“go bucks” – I like A & C. If these are the same size, then C definately has a better cut
“osu over the shoulder” – I like A & E with E being my most favorite. The other ones are too saturated in the red portion of the design, and yes I think you should go over the shoulder.
“buckeye repeat” – I like the cut of B best, the scoop neck on C is okay but I don’t like the sleeves, and I really like the background change with option D.
“music preview” – I like the cut of option D the best, and I can’t decide if I like the amount of music shown on the front of option A or D…
“buckeye leaf abstract” – I like the idea, but I think for an abstract it is much too structured. Maybe play with the saturation of white on different buckeye leaves (have some faded or make it look ‘weathered’ somehow) or move the OHIO STATE more within the leaves. For the armpit problem, maybe you could do another ‘over the shoulder’ and sort of scatter the leaves that way.
My faves are the “buckeye repeat”, “osu over the shoulder”, “brutus partial”, and “buckeye leaf abstract” (if it comes smaller). I can’t wait until you get these in production!!!

Here is some feedback about these shirts:
1. A, and you don’t need Buckeye on there. Brutus is great all by himself. Also, it would be nice if this also came in womens.
2. A or C; words as is
3. I like the color and fit of B but I prefer the over the shoulder design.
4. C & D
5. A – the Ohio State at the neck is fine, but you don’t really need it. I do LOVE that it is a TBDBITL shirt.
6. This shirt is just ok.
Do you have any plans to do an I (heart) Brutus t-shirt?? I am looking for one.

Repeat: I don’t like this design, the buckeyes stand out too much so that the pattern they make looks strange, especially the one in her right armpit. The lettering doesn’t stand out enough.

I don’t like the location of the Ohio State words
Without the Ohio State words, someone might not get it.
I think placing them elsewhere on the shirt with a better relationship to the music would be better. Perhaps low on the right, above the music
Buckeye leaf: I like this design, I like the deep V, I do not like the leaves in the armpit
My favorite is the over the shoulder one. It’s the only one I really loved. But I was wondering if it came as a girls shirt?
And also if the shoulder pattern when over the shoulder and on to the back. I can’t tell from the pictures but I hope it doesn’t just stop at the top of the shoulder. Either gray is good for me! But the vintage gray shirt would probably be a better seller.

thanks for all the feedback. i’m having trouble with the music preview shirt because the design doesn’t work too well with a side seamed shirt. i should have some more updates soon. looks like they’ll go into production in a few weeks.
I have to say that I love all of the men’s shirts – For the first shirt – while all the colors look similar, I like the color of A. The second shirt – I like the color of B and D. The third shirt – B or C. I the first women’s shirt – I like the color and style of C and E, but I’m not sure how the candy buckeyes will look on some women. On the black shirt with the music notes – I like the design including the Ohio State on the neck line, but I don’t like any of the styles of t-shirt shown with that design. I wonder if this design would look better on a t-shirt like the gray one with the buckeye candy (only of course, this one would be black)? I don’t mind caps sleeves, it would just depend on how the t-shirt fits. I like the style of the gray shirt with the stars on it. I would probably remove the leaves in the armpits though.

Shirt 2 – I like shirt B as far as color goes. Although shirt A would be OK a few shades darker – I do like the “heathered” color. I could take or leave the “go.”
Shirt 3 – I like the darker gray and would actually love this in a woman’s cut shirt! I’d wear it!
Shirt 4 – I like cap sleeves, and I like the crew neck (shirt B). I think I like the crew neck better than the v-neck, but maybe it just doesn’t fit well on the model (??). I like the red and I like the “candy Buckeyes” – too cute.
Shirt 5 – I like shirt B the best – the v-neck isn’t TOO low and the shirt itself isn’t TOO long. although I do like the cap sleeves of A.

Hi…I’m not a big fan of the buckeye candy things on the shirt and I prefer the crew necks to the v-necks. As for the 1st shirt I would remove the word buckeye off the front and maybe put it on the back of the shirt..I like the dark gray color..Great original designs!!!!

Shirt #2 – I like A & C, if you go with A keep the GO, if you go with C either take GO out or make much darker
Shirt #3 – I like the tighter sleeves, on A B & D but don’t like the position of the design on B. I question whether men will buy this shirt, perhaps a bit too “girley”
Shirt #4 – I like the grey v-neck with a cap sleeve, more feminine looking. Maybe the red looks good in person, but not in the photo
Shirt #5 – Not really liking this shirt’s design, just not my style. I like the positioning of the Ohio State in the v-neck though.
Shirt #6 – I like the style, v-neck might be a bit much for bustier girls. I’d change the lettering to be bigger and more bold, not two-toned.

-i like the brighter red of this one — and i think it might actually look cool with no “go,” just bucks

Love these shirts! I like the red or gray buckeye – would be great with a v-neck or black with silver leaves; ANy thoughts about making these into larger women’s sizes – my sister has a difficult time finding awesome OSU shirts in larger sizes. Also love the men’s partial brutus – how about a big buckeye leaf in the same style?
